Nail File Grit Chart - What is the best grit to use. What is everyones favorite natural nail file? Does anyone know of a website which has info on nail file grits? Also after removal, is everyone buffing nail and if so with what grit buffer? Which grit should i use to file away the top shiny layer prior removal with acetone. They're sanitizable, last quite well (longer than most files i've tried and i've tried lots in my search for the perfect file!), are lovely to use and the 240 grit. We now use the system for nail files and foot rasps where you get a base and put grit stickers on. Training that i had said to use a 180 grit file and another board i go too also say to use 180 grit for preparing the nail for gels, so many different thoughts on these.
